Theresa Lappé, 58 years old, has a Master’s Degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, School of Public Administration.  She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University, with a B.A. in Sociology, where she was awarded the Witchell Medallion for Excellence in Sociology, and the Distinguished Senior Award for Outstanding Scholarship, Leadership and Service to College for the class of 1989. The Distinguished Senior Award is awarded to only one graduate each year.
 
Theresa is the Business Administrator and Municipal Clerk for the Borough of Tavistock.   From 2004 to 2006, she was a Transportation Planner for the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization in Vineland, where she managed and administered transportation programs for the Southern New Jersey region.  From 1999 to 2004, Theresa was a Planner and Analyst for the South Jersey Transportation Authority in Hammonton.  She served on the Washington Township Council from 1995 to 1996.  In 1996 to 1998, Theresa was employed as the Deputy Municipal Clerk for Washington Township.

Theresa and her husband Charles have been married for 37 years and have two adult children and two grandchildren. They have been residents of Washington Township for 28 years.

Joseph Bowe, 63 years old, was in the United States Army Reserve for 5 years.  He was with the Delaware Bay Authority Police for 2 years, Patco High speed Police for 2 years and he was with the Police Department in Washington Township for 26 years.  He was on the Patrol Division and Traffic Division.  Joe was the First Instructor “Reality of Drivers Education,” which addressed alcohol, drugs and driving.  He was promoted to Sergeant and returned to Patrols Supervisor for 20 years. 

Joseph Bowe was a physical training instructor. He has implemented budgets for Traffic and Street Lighting and he worked for Rowan University in security as transporting students to Camden and Glassboro for 2 years.    

Joe ran for Washington Township council in 1996 and Freeholder in 2006.  Joseph and his wife Susan have been married for 42 years and have 2 children.  They have lived in Washington Twp for 32 years.  

Giancarlo D'Orazio, 57 years old, grew up in Orsogna, Italy and moved to South Philadelphia when he was 15.  He is the youngest of 10 children. Giancarlo received a degree in Computer Science from Pierce College in Philadelphia. He worked as a senior programmer analyst, and later IT Director until 2004. His responsibilities included staffing, budgeting, and managing a group of Professionals in the IT Department. From late 2004 until the present he has been an Independent consultant in the Windows LAN environment.  

Giancarlo opened La Gelato Cafe, an Italian-style eatery in Washington Township in May of 2005, featuring his homemade gelato, a frozen Italian treat similar to ice cream. He now provides gelato for weddings and events, and makes five flavors of traditional ice cream and eight flavors of water ice. 

Giancarlo and his wife Renee have resided in Washington Township for twenty years, and have two daughters, Alicia and Desiree.
